Most successful companies will tell you that the secret to their accomplishments is a direct result of the team they have put in place to help them reach these milestones. This is our philosophy at Roydan. With that in mind, we are thrilled to announce a new addition to our team.
Robert Allan, our new Software Support Team Lead, comes to Roydan after working as a Project Manager for Manitowoc Cranes. In this position, he carefully analyzed key data points, using his findings to provide insight and direction for future decisions. His input helped the organization with new product developments and introductions and allowed management to understand areas of potential weaknesses as well as key customer concerns.
“We believe that Robert’s background in data analysis and understanding the concerns of the customer will allow us to continue developing products that will move our customers to the next level,” notes Megan Manis, Vice President of Sales and Marketing. “Understanding the customer’s needs allows us to create solutions that will allow them to be effective. Robert has a great deal of experience in defining customer concerns and providing the next steps in developing customer focused products,” she adds.
In his new role as Software Support Team Lead, Robert will serve as the liaison between support and the development team. “My job is to ensure that our valued customer’s voice is not only heard, but also understood,” he notes. He will work with the entire support team to further develop their processes. “Our goal is to continue to improve support resolution times and ensure that customer concerns continue to be answered in a timely manner.”
One of the things that drew Robert to Roydan was a forward thinking mentality. “Roydan is a very future focused organization. It is wonderful to be a part of a team that sets long term growth goals and then puts a highly capable team in place to reach these objectives. I am thrilled to be a part of the future here at Roydan,” he adds.
When Robert is not helping the Roydan team develop long-term growth plans, he is an avid outdoorsman. He enjoys hunting and in his spare time, he teaches hunter’s safety courses here in Manitowoc. He is also an active volunteer for the Manitowoc Figure Skating Club where he is a jack-of-all-trades overseeing the ice conditions and sharpening skates, as well as any other areas where an extra hand is needed.
We are thrilled to have Robert lending an extra hand here at Roydan, and look forward to the valuable contributions he will provide in our future growth. Welcome to the team!
